Children are not just for Christmas

I saw this a short while ago on one of our local Freecycle lists. Quite poignant if indeed it is genuine:

“I havent any parents to speak of and my children have been without a
senior parentage for years.they always talk sadly when others are
enjoying their grandparents.

my children are 13,14 & 16 but its the younger 2 that have been missing
the grand-parentage.

if you can help make 2 /3 very ordinary children happy then please
contact me

remember children are not just for Christmas.
