More4 (UK) have been repeating the Father Ted comedy series recently and I keep scouring the Radio Times site to see which episodes are going out just in case I might get to revisit one of the most sublime and unexpected cameo appearances ever in a comedy series as Father Ted introduces various priests to his guests and at one point says “and Father Brian Eno” and incredibly it really WAS Brian Eno. The moment is all too brief and not lingered on at all from my memory. Being a follower of Eno’s music I remember being quite bemused by the sudden inclusion of the man himself.

NTLVirgin Media On-Demand have a whole bunch of Father Ted episodes (fantastic, considering I’ve missed most of them!).. I’ve just not had the chance to watch the ones I haven’t sen, yet!j
