My partner is going through various bird sounds and I’m reminded of the different sounds that birds of the same species make in Australia, particularly the incessantly mocking Ravens (never good when suffering from periods of low self esteem or mild paranoia) and the dreamier alternative song of the Australian Magpie.
The Brit variants sound typically mundane by comparison though I’m not sure my nerves could suffer the endless mocking of the Ravens.
