I notice that Gizmo, the sip based voip application have added Gizmo for Mobile phone now. So now many mobile phone users can now access this voip application which also adds Instant messaging to Yahoo,AIM,Googletalk and MSN users.
I’ve already used the version for palm Treo though Gizmo mobile version obviously uses voip and messaging through a mobile’s usual GPRS Internet connection if your phone does not have WiFi which sounds a bit daft but I guess if you do use your mobile’s Internet and this is the only way to add instant messaging and the ability to make overseas calls at a lower rate by part routing your call via Gizmo’s voip network then it’s a handy backup application to have.
Quite a few phones are supported including many Nokia,Blackberry,Motorola, Siemens,Samsung, Panasonic, Palm,O2 and pocket PC based phones. A quick tip for any Nokia’s that can’t work out the .jad file install, just select the Nokia N95 and download the .jar programme directly to see if that works for you.
