A human story in the midst of a usually controversial music group. Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge, wife of Psychic TV’s Genesis P-Orridge died of heart failure on Tueday. Genisis P-Orridge’s web site announced:
‘Lady Jaye died suddenly on Tuesday 9th October 2007 at home in Brooklyn, New York from a previously undiagnosed heart condition which is thought to have been connected with her long-term battle with stomach cancer. Lady Jaye collapsed and died in the arms of her heartbroken “other half”.
The couple had, for a number of years, been undergoing surgery to remove dissimilar physical elements between them in an ongoing art-life project to become one “pandrogynous” being, named Breyer P-Orridge. Despite the controversy it’s still at its core a very human tragedy. Condolences to all those affected.
