BBC’s iPlayer has increased the number of stacked series in combination with making cutting edge features available to those that opt into iPlayer labs (a name not a million miles away from Google labs where users opt into to 
trying bleeding edge features). The stacked series are indicated with a suitable stacked style graphic (as shown above with Survivors and Horizon showing an available stacked series).
Live streaming of programmes as they go out is expected to increase in availability which makes sense for news and live events and for those that wish to watch television via their broadband Internet connection.
