Interesting comment on the latest British Gas energy price increases from jockyscot
There seems to be a problem with the figures. According to my pocket calculator, 75% + 75% = 150% which is obviously absurd in the context.
I am also bemused by the statement that “Demand can no longer meet supply”. That means we are producing more than we can use and that’s surely a good thing, isn’t it?
The devil, as they say, is in the details, and if you get the details wrong the argument falls flat on its face.
