Back To A Future Passed

Kubrick’s 1968 masterpiece is to grace cinemas again. Remastered and re-trailered. I was 6 years old when I first saw this. I can’t imagine I understood it at that age. The final star-child scene still pushes the envelope. Many film are touted as ‘the next 2001’ but few are worthy of the connection. We have to remember this was all before CGI and before the moon landings. As a piece of cinema art and viewed on a large screen (shot on 70mm so easily up to 4k resolution) it still stands as a film to be immersed in and experienced.
