The Dukes Of Stratosphear was a pseudonym of the British band XTC which allowed them to indulge in a bit of retro psychedelic pastiche of which this interview is a silly example. It’s not too hard to recognise the voice of Andy Partridge through the audio processing.

Wow, this was my introduction to The Dukes on a rainy Saturday afternoon in ’85 and I’ve been telling people about this interview for the last 32 years. I never imagined that I’d hear it again.
